DESCRIPTION:We’ve adopted Joey’s Food Locker\, a community effort feeding 400+ families each week\, most connected to the Natomas Unified School District. Our goal is to sign up 10 volunteers to help serve! \nTwo weekly opportunities to serve: \n\nWednesdays: 3:30–4:30 p.m. (until 5:00 if needed) → Bagging food/vegetables in preparation for distribution.\nThursdays: 3:30–5:30 p.m. (stay until 6:00 for cleanup) → Distributing food\, assisting families\, bagging\, or scanning.\n\n6 Simple Steps to Get Started (all in one day!): \n\nSign up for the Joey’s Food Locker email list. (Link)\nDownload and complete the Volunteer Application (attached).\nObtain TB clearance and submit results with your application.\nSubmit your completed application to NUSD HR.\nComplete Livescan fingerprinting at the NUSD Educational Center (1901 Arena Blvd).\nOnce cleared\, HR will notify the site\, and you’re ready to serve!
