We’ve adopted Joey’s Food Locker, a community effort feeding 400+ families each week, most connected to the Natomas Unified School District. Our goal is to sign up 10 volunteers to help serve!

Two weekly opportunities to serve:

• Wednesdays: 3:30–4:30 p.m. (until 5:00 if needed) → Bagging food/vegetables in preparation for distribution.
• Thursdays: 3:30–5:30 p.m. (stay until 6:00 for cleanup) → Distributing food, assisting families, bagging, or scanning.

6 Simple Steps to Get Started (all in one day!):

1. Sign up for the Joey’s Food Locker email list. (Link)
2. Download and complete the Volunteer Application (attached).
3. Obtain TB clearance and submit results with your application.
4. Submit your completed application to NUSD HR.
5. Complete Livescan fingerprinting at the NUSD Educational Center (1901 Arena Blvd).
6. Once cleared, HR will notify the site, and you’re ready to serve!
